I want to take my 9 yr old daughter someplace fun. Please, keep in mind that I am 6 months pregnant so any theme parks etc. are not a good idea. I live in Rhode Island and will be driving to the location so anywhere in RI,MA,NH,ME,VT,NY,PA is good.

not counting stopping for gas or breaking down,got leave that out for i had a altenator go out on interstate and that took 18 hrs to fix,but the longest i ever spent driving was 12 hours

I live in Oregon. I have met several world travelers that say Oregon is the closest to paradise they have seen. Diverse weather, without the extremes, beautiful scenery, etc. But the only other place I have been is california. to those of you who have visited oregon, what do you think, what parts did you see?
