I would say the South Pacific islands where there is beautiful blue water, white sand, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Lots of peace and tranquility, trade winds and palm trees and a laid back atmostphere. Been to Italy & France for several months, no desire to go back to the somewhat dirty cities that are over crowded and are fairly rude people; at least to the Americans.
Saying Italy & France is most romantic is like saying the French Riviera is THE place. If you've been there and seen the rocky beaches, dirty seaweed waters, etc. they can't be compared to the Caribbean or even the U.S. beaches; and that even includes Galveston.
