I drove from Dallas Tx to Milwaukee, WI. That's 1010 miles. I obeyed the speed limit the entire way, got side tracked for about 30 minutes chasing down a fire. I started at 09:00 Thursday, and arrived home 03:00 Friday, a total of 18 hours. I don't recommend doing this on a regular basis. If you get tired. pull over and rest.

My husband and I took a driving tour of Graduate schools for our honeymoon (I don't recommend this). We traveled from mid Ohio to Toronto Canada (6 hrs) then to Boston, MA
(8 hrs) then to Washington DC (7 hrs) then to Atlanta GA (10 hrs) then to Dallas Tx (11.5hrs), then back home (16 hrs). for a grand total of 58.5 hours on the road - not including stops.
I was SOOOO sick of the car by the time we got home, we didn't take another driving trip for 6 years!
The longest drive I ever took nonstop (alone) was from Ashland Ohio to Dent, MN. (15.5 hrs) - I really needed a second driver!

I remember one time approximately 8 yrs. in the past. i replaced into using from Cali. to Tx. and desperate to take some lower back roads scenic direction. i replaced into on some imprecise 2 lane highway without shoulder surrounded via sand dunes on the two component of me. This replaced into between the main narrow roads I actual have ever been on, i replaced into praying there does no longer be site visitors coming any incorrect way.

17.5 hours, Detroit to International Falls, MN, for a hunting trip.

I am not including a pit-stop in a small, halfway point town called Spread Eagle, WI. Guess what they have in Spread Eagle?

Driving a car, naaaah. I have spent a lot of days of my life riding bicycle. I rode my bicycle to school everyday. And then, back home. Probably just from home to school, there was like 50+ (Km). Imagine that !

Looonger, when I've been to Australia. It was a trip through the desert and neverending. I can't even remember how many hours we spent on that bus.
