Today's Americans are descend from the exiles of Europe: we were the highlanders of Scotland, the butchers of Germany, & the herdsman of Ireland. But you considered anyone who knew how to get off their *** & work SCUM, so you sent us away to the paradise known as America - where blue collar is a way of life.

You thought you were getting rid of your problem, but we kicked your *** in 1812, 1918, & 1945. Now we're going to kick your *** AGAIN.

I'm visiting Europe for the first time and need to pick two cities from the above list. I'm leaning towards Barcelona and Venice, both of which might be more expensive than the rest. I'm a budget traveler. I'm less interested in seeing ruins and old castles, and more interested in places with active contemporary cultures.

I will be traveling to Amsterdam, Netherlands during the month of September. Whenever I search online for a place to stay, I seem to only find very expensive places. Does anyone have information on how one would secure their money and valuables while staying at a Youth Hostel? Seems like it is pretty risky to simply trust that nobody will help themselves to your wallet, passport, etc.

Thank you in advance.

I have been living in Istanbul for 3 years now. I have taught English which I really enjoy but I am looking for something more secure. Where would I go to look for a job for an American English speaker (I do speak Turkish as well but not fluently). I have past experience in Sales, Business Man., and of course teaching. Thanks to anyone who answers.
