My grandfather came from a village near Vodina (Edhessa) from Greece to Turkiye at 1920's exchange. Actually half part of my village where i was born came from there. They says they came a village call "ostof" or "oslof" near a lake in near Vodina.

I found Vodina (Edhessa) but can't find information about village where my comes from. Any one has any idea about that village from Greece?

Hi everyone,

I would like to travel to Europe. How much do you think it would cost to go for 2 - 3 months? I would stay in hostel's. I have seen a few people say around $100/day. Is this a realistic average?

I want to find the perfect place for my spring vacations near Athens. I want it to be in a quiet beach but I would like also to have a village nearby - with some nightlife.
I don't want it to be more than 1 - 1,5 hour away from Athens.
Any ideas?

I know it's a bit specific... but someone on the internet must know!
I need a hotel in Athens, Greece either in or near the Plaka...
Around $200 us a night (less would be better!)
and we need to be allowed 5 people in a room, connecting double and triple rooms would be ok too but it would still have to be in the price range for both rooms total.
An apartment would be ok too, and if you know of a really good hotel a little over $200 a night tell me!!

Something similar to starfall.com in Russian. Does it exist? I would like for my 4-year old to learn that language. I can speak to him in it, but would like a computer-related aid, since he really likes computers and games. He currently speaks and understands only English (and he loves the starfall.com site). I am writing a report about Kracow in Poland.i need to write about major resources for tourism in Kracow(natural, historical, cultural attractions etc.)The main thing i must explain in my asignment is why these resources appeal to to different types of visitor-reasons why tourists go there.
Who is attracted by Kracow?-"people who like......."tell me if u know;-)
What type of people go there
-families?-why?
-business people?-why?
-people who are interested in history?-Aushwitz(how do u call that type of tourism when u go to find out about history?)
