I recommend Lanzarote and as long as you wont be going during the easter holidays most of the resorts will be fairly quiet. My favourite resort is Costa Teguise but Puerto Del Carmen is nice (I usually find it too busy there but I usually go in the school hols). Playa Blanca is still a small resort and older couples tend to go there. They are the main resorts but there are lots of little resorts if you want extremely relaxing.

I used to live in Lanzarote and go for holidays every year now.

Costa Tequise, Lanzarote, definitely. Although Playa Blanca is a nice up and coming resort. Puerto del Carmen if you like Blackpool.

Puerto de Mogan in Gran Canaria - really lovely place, not built up, sandy beach only a couple of hotels and apartments but plenty of lovely restaurants all round a little marina.

lanzarote pto del carman or gran canara pto mogan realy relaxing im hopeing to go in march so i might bump in to you. i will keep a eye out for a dark profile? LOL

Costa Teguise, Lanzorote - mostly quiet out of the high season - and peaceful.
