Oh yes. Turkey is a whole other world. It has enough history and sights to be interesting everyday but also has enough familiar things to be comfortable. It is a beautiful country and the people are so friendly and helpful. I recommend anyone to come and see it.

I love it! There is nothing more beautiful than sailing into Istanbul and seeing the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia in the far distance. One can fly in------but you really must see it from a ship's deck. Going into the Blue Mosque gives a very inspirational feeling. The people are unusually nice, and I could go there and just stay. Kusadasi is another favorite place of mine. I have plans to go back and see much more of the country. Plus, I really do like Turkish food.

I guess it is enough to say that I have visited Turkey four times by now and I intend to go there again! I have been in Istanbul, which is a magnificent city, and Kusadasi, Marmaris and Alanya, which are all fantastic! I strongly recommend all those places!

I’ve been there twice, and I loved the place. The history is amazing.

The Turks are generally a warm and friendly people. They are fairly conservative in their lifestyles, but are pretty laid back towards others in the big cities. The farther away you get from the big cities, the more conservative they get....

Oh yea. Try their Raki. I can't guarantee you will like it, but 20 million Turks can't all be wrong....
