My family would like to try to accompany my husband on his tour to Turkey. What schools would my 6 year old attend? Would it be safe for my kids and I to be in public without my husband? I was thinking of renting a car in Athens, driving it north to the Turkish border (or somewhere close) and taking a bus or a train to Istanbul for my return flight home. but the car rental companies seem to take a huge sum for one-way car rentals. does anyone know of a way to get a one-way car rental that doesn't cost as much? how else can this be done?
