I just moved here from Canada and it is a nice country but I don't speak Danish so I am having a hard time finding a job. My husband is a chef so he had no problems. You can look at www.jobsincopenhagen.com and see if you have any skills that would match up with something here. Canada and Denmark have a special arrangement for working here but the US doesn't have the same thing so you would have to get a job to sponser you unless one of your parents is Danish.

To get here you could probably get a cheep charter flight to Amsterdam and then fly SAS to Copenhagen.

It has been very chilly and rainy here lately. Downtown drives me nuts because of all the tourists. Most people ride bikes here rather then drive which is fun but you have to get used to the different rules. Apartments are hard to find and very expensive. Some good things are that people seem to do a lot of fun things. I always see big groups of people having picnics in the parks or just sitting out in little squares drinking bottles of beer.

I don't know what else you would like to know. I will check back to see if you add anything.

Denmark is great, especially down by the water where there are some great restaurants. Also, there is that hippy community in the middle of town...that is very cool. The best thing about Denmark is that it has a bridge to Sweden. Sweden is much nicer, more to do, better looking women, by far.

Why not try some other options first. Denmark is the last country I will live in. Everything is expensive and the people there is stressed and brainwashed to think they live in a well fare country, which it not is at all.
Try Asia....Thailand, Vietnam etc...live out your dreams about good all year climate, nice and smiling people, cheap living conditions and a better living quality

You would need to take a plane. Its cold there but the people are nice. High per capita consumption of alcohol and coffee, relaxed sexual attitudes, massage is accepted, good social programs.I would say just go check it out. I wish I had when I was younger. Oh yeah, most of the people are blond too I think.
