I am thinking of attending a summer course next year at a Turkish university but I heard that women are banned from wearing headscarfs. Is this true? How strict are they?

Would I be allowed to wear a headscarf if I studied at a private language colledge instead of a university?

Want to book to go in a month to Croatia with my partner- is it ok for us to just get flights out there and wing it- i.e. travel around and find places to stay on that particular night or is it better to book somewhere for the two weeks- we want a bit of an adventure- plus are there nice campsites etc
Any info about croatia gladly received!

Hm,one more:Stalin was also Georgian:)There is no democracy in Russia. All independent tv channels were closed or at the moment are controlled by goverment!also last 17 years there are problems about coruption in Russia and noone is going to solve them!!!Its interesting to talk about double standards, double games of Russia. They are fighting against separatists at their territory(chechnya for example) and at the same time, they support separatist in other countries. For example Moldovia-"pridnestrovie"(Moldovian territory near river Dnestr, controled by separatists supported and financed by Russia),Georgia-Tskhinvali Region and Abkhazia(separatists financed and armed by Russia),Azebaijan(mountain Karabak) and so on...its awaful country with awful politics, people!!!
