Want to book to go in a month to Croatia with my partner- is it ok for us to just get flights out there and wing it- i.e. travel around and find places to stay on that particular night or is it better to book somewhere for the two weeks- we want a bit of an adventure- plus are there nice campsites etc
Any info about croatia gladly received!

No I haven't been. But I know someone that went last year and she loved it.
And her words were this 'I have never been back to the same place twice for a holiday. I am going again to Croatia this year.
On TV there is a program called 'A Place In The Sun' and it had a property available in Croatia. And I got to admit it looked gorgeous.

My mum and dad have been to Croatia a few times and they really enjoyed it. I think it's in the same stage of development as Bulgaria, where I went earlier this year, and I'd say that it wasn't really a "winging it" kind of place as yet, as everything is very resort-centred and the countryside is quite inhospitable. Saying that, have a look at the Lonely Planet Guide "Europe on a Shoestring" - they might have a few good ideas.

My husband and I went to Ravinja in Croatia absolutely beautiful and the people were very good and genuine. We got the local bus over to Pula where there is an amphitheatre in very good condition and also went to Porec on the local bus but we found this to be very touristy but nice. Then we got the hydrofoil over to Venice one day absolutely beautiful we wouldhave gone another day but we were only there for one week. We thoroughly enjoyed it and found the people very helpful and extremely generous in their approach to tourists. Would recommend you to go.
