Every airline is different and right now it's even worse with the latest terrorist attempt.
Your best bet is to go directly to the airlines website. They always list restricted items.

Worldwide any liquid in bottle, box or tube as toothpaste or shampoo is not allowed. Also lighters, scissors, forks guns, drugs, medicines (you need doctor's recipe), bulbs, coffee (more that 500grams), seeds, ground, stones (of any kind, pebbles and shells included), baby food, water, spirits and many other ask your travel agent or airline company for more details.

any liquids, creams, anything that could possibly be percieved as being a liquid or cream... you can't take on lip gloss, you can't take on lotion, perfume, makeup, ANYTHING. No tweezers, nothing you couldn't take on before. You have to put all of these things in a bag that you're going to check.

explosive, poisonous, gaseous,dangerous, sharp, living things. now if u r going to the US u can't even bring liquid onto the plane

now its like no bolttled liquids no shampoo or hairspray or toothpaist.........ummm O and no make up, at least lipstick. and ya thats all i can think of
