AUSTRALIA - all in australian dollars.

1 kg of meat - (depends what kind), I'll say $8
1 kg of sugar - $2
1 bottle of whisky (varies) up to $39
1 cinema ticket $ 12
1 bus ticket (depends where you're travelling to) $5
1 pack cigarettes from $12
1 McDonalds (depends what you buy) Happy meals are $4.95 i think
rent per month 50 sq m apartment (in my area) $800
salary of a teacher per year $25,000 - $30,000
school fees are optional for public schools in my country

Germany, Berlin:

1 kg of meat - depends if pork, lamb or beef, and depends if grind/minced meat or otherwise. The cheapest costs about 2 EUR.

1 kg of sugar o,7 euros - I think a little less, not sure.

1 bottle of whisky 8 euros - certainly less, also depends on the quality of Whiskey.

1 cinema ticket 7 euros - about the same but depends on the cinema. This is the price in Sony cinemas (Cinemax, etc.) In Yorck cinemas it costs something liek 6 EUR at the weekend and on "Kinotag" (cinema day) half price in all cinemas.

1 bus ticket 0,5 euros - much more expensive. the cheapest one (3 station) is 1.5

1 pack cigarettes from 1 euro - much more expensive, and should be even more expensive. There is a lot of taxation on cigs, I think a pack costs 3.20 EUR.

1 mack Donald 1,4 euros - a Big Mac costs something liek 3 EUR, but the smallest hamburger costs 1 EUR.

rent per month 50 sq m apartment 300 euros - a bit more, if you want to live somewhere normal in Berlin , especially with heating costs . I'd say something like 350-400.

cost to buy an apartment 1500 euros /sq.m - about the same. Again, depends on the area and the state of the apartment.

salary of a teacher per year 18000 euros - much more, closer to 32,000 p.a, but you have to work hard to become one.

school fees None - same , but about to change.

Well in Australia it also depends which city you are from and which area/suburb in that city but I'll give you an example anyway:
1- kilo meat= $7.00 but depends what kind of meat.
1- kilo sugar= $3.50-$4.00
1 bottle whiskey= $25
1- cinema ticket for an adult= $14=rip off!!
1- bus/train ticket 4 all day to the city= $5.00
1- pack of cigarettes= $10-15 again which one you want and yet again a rip off!!
1- regular Mc Donald's meal= $4.95
rent per month again depends where you live roughly around $800-$900.
cost of a standard house or apartment $250.000.

It's kind of hard to answer all of your questions, some of which are in kg instead of pounds, but I'll give it a shot. Here in central Wisconsin, in the U.S, one pound of hamburger (ground beef) is $2.49. A four pound bag of sugar (that's how I buy it) is $1.49. I don't buy alcohol, so I can't help you there. Nor do I go to the cinema or ride a bus. I don't smoke, but have seen ads for cigarettes ranging from $2.89 to $4.89 per single pack. I don't eat at Mc Donalds, but I believe a Big Mac goes for $2.69. Rent around here for a 4 bedroom house is $500 per month. Salary of a teacher around here is about $25,000. School fees (in high school) vary greatly, depending on the classes you take, while attending grade school and high school are free, but paid by property taxes. College costs lots of money, and range from about $15,000 per year up to $70,000 or more, depending on the college. And you forgot something....a gallon of gas here goes for $3.14 per gallon. <*)))><
