Hello dear! (XAIPE!)
Athens is the city of cities! Maybe there are many drawbacks, including pollution, too much population, but, there is no such city anywhere!
Evenings in the little and larger places in the coast, on Petra, , ....
Just having Acropolis with her Parthenon brings Athens to the top city worldwide!
The nice young people, the philosophy generated in the air and the brains of most, the zeibekiko with ouzo and discussions, the sunsets, ....
The Saronic golf and the mountains around make a theater for a life of higher standards and levels!!

I love Athens. I studied there twice, and I have been there four times otherwise. It is an amazing city. The buildings are white, and it borders the sea. The people are friendly and always hospitable, and there is such history there. Its amazing to know that without Athens' golden age, civilization as we know it would be completely different. I'd move to Athens any day.

Yes, very much! I have visited Athens before the Olympic Games and she was very beautiful, but I guess she is even more marvelous now. I also visited Rhodes this summer. I would absolutely recommend both of them.

I have been to many places in Greece....it is beautiful.....
I`ve been to Athens as well, I`m amazed how huge Athens is!!! However, I find it a bit scary....I wasn`t feeling very safe on the streets....and, oh man, you drive SOOOO fast!!!!
It is my dream to visit Zakinthos!

Never been there, but it is a dream of mine to go there one day. You have NO idea how badly I want to go there. I have screen savers and wallpaper on my computer both at work and at home. The history, culture, and scenery, I just find it all fascinating. I have seen some pictures of some beautiful sunsets there and they are awesome! Yes Greece first and then the pyrimids of Egypt.

Well sur is my birthplace, and i am lucky to be born here!. Some people travel long way to come here and learn history, culture, and the physical beauty of islands.
