I saw this island on my way back from Tioman Island last year.
Seems nice and cosy. Anybody been there before? And any good recommendation, especially with a child of 2 years old?

I am planning to go there as a volunteer for a certain organization, problem is, I have to arrange my own accommodation. I'll be there for 2 months. Do you know any really cheap but decent hotels (price range?) or any programs where I can live in someone's home and pay them (or not)? Or any websites where I can find this info?

I have to make a stopover in Taiwan, and I am trying to decide whether to stay at a hotel near the airport for convinience, or a cheaper place in the city. Also, if it is easy to get to the city, are there any cheap ($20 and less range) places that you can recommend?

The Chinese government took control of Tibet as eary as the 13th century but Tibetions are still living there now; Europeans
took control of north America only 300 years ago,but the native people almost died out since then. That's why Americans are living in a God promised land and backing the Tibetan freedom .

China seems to be desperate to get native English speakers to teach there. I looked at some programs and they seem decent. For instance, they claim high wages and free apartments. It almost seems too good. Has anyone done this, and what can they tell me about it?

Have I been given the boot ?!
If whilst traveling in the Philippines, a guy is talking to a Filipina girl... and she smiles and seems to like you but then after awhile she says to you: "DO YOU KNOW THE WORD 'INGIT' ??" --- has she given you the hint to get lost ?! What could she mean by that ? Any help is welcome. Thanks

I mean, you can hardly expect a local team to be as good as ManU or Chelsea. There's no Roman Abramovich to splash the cash.

Can someone give me very specific directions on how to get from the Manila airport to Angeles City using the bus terminal? Would it be cheaper than taking a private car there (private car costs 2400PHP)? Do I have to take a taxi from the airport to the bus terminal? How much will my taxi cost? Which bus terminal do I go to? How much will the fare be to Angeles? Thanks
