NICOL DAVID is UNQUESTIONABLY the BEST Malaysian Sports Person in the history of Malaysian sports. No other Malaysian sportsman, or woman can match Nicol's achievements. Not a single one. She is the epitome of "sporting excellence".

Nicol's achievements are certainly among the best sporting performance by a Malaysian. However to be accepted by the public to be THE best sportsperson of all time there are several other considerations. The sport must be a 'major' sport where there is wide participation (e.g. soccer, badminton) or have wide audience appeal (e.g. Athletics, F1). Unfortunately squash fails in that regards, although Nicol ranks among the best women squash players of all time. To me, to be the best Malaysian sportsperson you need to do something to get the whole nation jumping up and down like when we last won the Thomas Cup. Sadly squash does not fall in that league. If only Nicol had taken up badminton instead..

She's a squash player, not a badminton player! And yes, she is the best Malaysian sportsperson. But, a new pair has been revealed. Recently, didn't Lee Chong Wei or someone and another guy won the All-England Badminton Cup or something? But they are CHAMPIONS anyway.

She is officially the World Number 1 in women's squash. Yeah I am proud of her. No Malaysian has done better than her in sports. People actually think I am nicol david’s sister. I can’t bear to say no. I usually nod my head and smile.

She's definitely the best Malaysian sportsperson of all time and she's HOT (for a Penang girl, I say so...) :-)

Anyway there are other Malaysian sportsperson that I think deserve credit too:
Datin Paduka Sharifah Mazlina Syed Abdul Kadir (man, this is one mouthful name) --- for solo ski-sailing across Antartica. I've always dreamt of doing something like this and she's one cool babe!

Jak Othman --- One cool guy, being one the first World Champion in Silat and presently promoting kickboxing with setting and breaking records after records (get the Malaysian Book of Records, you'll know what I mean. In fact, his records deserve the World Records because those feats were NEVER attempted before).
