i am visiting a sick friend in singapore and i wonder if i can get a better thing by booking directly with the hotel as i arrive there or by using online-booking services by third parties?
What are the possible consequences of each choice?

Hi,
I'm quite fascinated by the place Lhasa in Tibet with the beautiful natural untouched landscape and cool weather. Has anyone been there? What's a good time of the year to visit?

Is it advisable for a group of students (below 20) to travel there without adult supervision? What are some things to take note of while traveling there?

I am planning a Thailand/Malaysia/Singapore combined tour for around 12 nights. I would like to know whether the hotels mentioned below are good to stay in for a decent luxury stay. The trip would be extensive sightseeing oriented. I am mentioning the hotels as well as providing with a link to the exact itinerary.

I know I am bragging a little, but i just want to tell someone, so....

I went to the Philippines around June, and when I was in the LA airport going to Manila, I saw Pacman there!! I heard that he was training in LA for some time, then he was going back to Manila, to box against Larios from Mexico. I was just so happy that I got a picture with him...

So my question is, who is a big fan of his? I know I am!!

He wants Rep. of China to invest in Singapore not Malaysia or Indonesia. His 'voice' is being ignored by the people in China. While China is the biggest important/profitable market and investors for Malaysia, Malaysia country has the edge for the rich Middle East investors and tourists too.
Singapore plays the word 'marginalized' to divert China attention and scare tactics to break Malaysia. Why Lew Kuan Yew is not longer relevant, his credibility has been questioned as hatred, appalling and lack of sensivity of asian sipit and liberty.
Dont understand why such country that claimed to be that developed and yet the mentality have showed to be the opposite? Moreover, Lee Kuan Yew does it best when he was in the Office to minorities in his own country!
Sad case.

I've never been to Japan before, but I plan on going there soon.
I'm sure the people are friendly, but are there things i should do or shouldn't do.
This may sound a little weird but, would i be treated diffrently because I come from America?
I don't know how other countries veiw the US at the moment, so i didn't know if that would effect my visit.

I have booked my ticket but having second thoughts. I will be staying at a friend's house and it is rare that four of us will be together (two of them works in USA).

The main concern is $$ because I have not worked for six months and is living off my savings. Thus, I have no idea if I should spend the $$ at all. Any good advice? Be nice, please.
