Yes,i guess so. You;re expected to behave in a certain way and if you dont, you'll be ostracized for that and, therefore people change. They're no longer nice. If you're nice in today's world, you'll be taken for granted. It's a dog eat dog world out there.

I agree with one of the answerers here that ANYthing that happens are either brought upon by self and because you allow yourself to be <~~ SO TRUE=)
Whether they're for better or worse depends highly again on how you use it. It's a choice and it's up to Y-O-U.
Personally, it's made me a cynical person because trust has been broken time & time again. Now I've put these walls up, a form of self-defense mechanism to prevent hurt.
If anything, it's changed me from this vulnerable, fragile, naive person into a stronger, self-reliant individual.
So it's for the best. The most important thing is to not lose yourself doing it. Stay true to yourself, live the rest of your life... purposefully.

appears like i'm the only guy or woman who would not think of so. regrettably information coverage seems to stay on the negatives in society yet there is much extra sturdy than undesirable obtainable. maximum persons are regulation abiding electorate, maximum childrens at the instant are not any further appropriate or worse than we've been. Homosexuality is extra appropriate, racism and sexism is not appropriate. maximum folk persons are extra tolerant of difference. present day terrorism is extra frightening yet there at the instant are not any international wars or concentration camps killing hundreds of thousands. Paedophilia is not extra common... purely extra observed...which must be a sturdy element. we've a wellbeing service it somewhat is the envy of the international (in spite of all its shortcomings) our youngsters are knowledgeable by utilising the state, Crime isn't rife even however the media might want to make out it is. in my view I actual have self belief in my fellow guy/lady and attempt to not get labored up by utilising hysteria in the media. Society (us lot) is especially sturdy!

I do think that company we keep tends to change us, for better or worse. Life out there is not very nice either, and sometimes you have to turn a blind eye to the bad things and people to stay nice. I stand by my mother's standard: If nobody knows, I know who I am and how I should behave. It keeps my head up, and my heart and act clean.

Both society and your lifestyle changes you. When working/college full time and country i'm in i act differently, despite having similar opinions/views on life i've always had.
I become more materialistic when working and don't care about such things when studying

i don't think society will change you into good or bad. it is you and your peers, family, friends that will influence and mold you into the type of person that you will become. society will always be there to thwart you onto the right or wrong path. your upbringing will help you choose the right path to follow. so do the right thing!

A society can only change you if you allow it. It is our own perception of reified society that changes us. We must try to change that society for the benefit of the greater good.
