I traveled to Tibet last summer when I was 17 with some students from my high school on a research trip. Lhasa was wonderful! If you can go, do it! I absolutely loved it. I visited in August and the weather was perfect, especially after spending a few days in Chengdu, where the weather was unbearably hot. I don't think I would have gone without an adult, and having a guide is also a must. The locals often do not speak much english, so a guide can help negotitate prices, as well as inform you of local history.
When going, make sure to schedule enough time that you have one or two days to rest in the hotel before doing any major sightseeing. Those first two days are miserable; the high altitude causes headaches and nausea in some people, especially if you fly from a lower altitude as my group did. So just make sure to bring lots of BOTTLED water to fight altitude sickness with.
The two things I would suggest seeing are first, the Potala Palace, the former palace of the Dahli lama, and the second is the local culture. Make sure you get out of your hotel and actually walk around amoung the locals!
Tibet is wonderful; it was the most wonderful experience!

particular Morocco is quite risk-free. I only back from Khemisset on sept.13. I had no problems with anybody or something. the folk have been amazingly friendly. It grow to be not something like I had predicted. i would not reccommend staying in Casablanca in spite of the indisputable fact that. not because of the fact its not risk-free, yet because of the fact it extremely is quite grimy and the scent is terrible. I additionally would not reccommend you or your daughter donning something that shows your legs collectively as in Morocco the two. it extremely is a Muslim usa and you will draw too lots interest to yourselves in the experience that your legs arent coated. I wore pants and ankle length skirts and grow to be superb. The Moroccan way of existence is stunning. additionally in case you do not communicate Arabic or French you will in all probability have an extremely complicated time conversing collectively as there. French and Arabic are the two significant languages spoken in Morocco and not many human beings be attentive to English. So please study the languages and the cultures earlier you bypass. in case you do choose for to bypass, Take care, think of risk-free, be careful and shop you funds on your individual in any respect situations.
