That being said I wish he would have left months ago.

What say you?

40% of the land israel uses for settlements is built on land that is privately owned by palestinians, according to israel's own records. Do you agree that this is a crime against humanity?

I was wondering how Jewish people felt about this, as it is my understanding that unlike Christianity for example, there is quite a bit of preparation one must undergo to convert to Judaism, and that celebrities and their trends can be exploitative at times. I had the understanding that studying Kabbalah was granted from prayer and fasting and obeying Jewish laws, and was reserved for those men most devout and pious, not red strings and bottled water. I hope I am not offending anyone, I really want to get the view from some Jewish people about how this looks to you. Does it bother you? Do they look silly to you? Do you feel that it is exploiting your beliefs and background? Please let me know. I appreciate your responses, and hope to learn much from you all. Thank you, L'Chaim and Shalom.

I think it's cool that US can export/promote Baseball to the Middle East I heard that the rules are mostly the same, but, if the score is the same after 7 innings, it'll go to a homerun contest...........that's cool!

I have recently upset some or at least one of your members by offering some answers that were intended to get Israel members thinking but which , on reflection ,probably were a bit over the top !. I come today with an olive branch in my mouth , some white doves & a white flag to seek your input & assistance.

I suggested to the regulars of the Lebanon Category that we would achieve more for long term peace & harmony if we dialogued with your category , not about politics or religion but about everyday things , humour & fun .

With that in mind I held a poll of regulars to see if there was support for this idea & enough said yes .....so , here I am.
Would you all like to cross polinate the answer categories with a view to establishing positive dialogue with a group of fun loving Lebanese people of all ages ?

I am new in the category, have no authority in the group but would like to see a bridge between us ...

Anyone interested ?

Iran's arming Gaza and southern lebanon to the teeth, I don't think giving them a 3rd front is very wise... Sorry to ask this in the travel section but it seems to be completely politicized these days. Just wondered what Israelis thought about this.

I am amazed to see so many people verbally assaulting Israelis and Jews in a Category where they are supposed to ask for traveling information. Conspiracy theories, fake Zionist quotes, and GENOCIDAL THREATS are all examples of the venom they spew. I'm also amazed at just how much of what they say about Israel is total gobbledygook that's actually very easy to debunk if you know jack about Middle East politics. How can such fanatical hate have such a flimsy base? Having grown up in strongly anti-Semitic surroundings, I realize how hard my life would be if I were Israeli or Jewish, and I want to give people here my condolences. I'm proud to support Israel after long years of study opened my eyes to the falsity of everything I'd been taught about it, and I'm raring to go smashing any hate of Israel to its intellectual foundations.
