in islam,women are required to cover their whole body except hands and face(the face veil isn't necessary)..it's not compulsory that you've to wear the head to toe covering burkhas and abayas..all the clothes must be loose,covering the whole body and should be neat and clean..so you can still wear those pretty skirts,shirts and jean, as long as you fulfil all these requirements

Basic concept of Muslim Clothing for men r women is to cover ur Body in loose clothes so ur Private parts dont attarct opposite sex.

WEARING CLOTHES WHICH BELONGS TO THE OPPOSITE SEX IS ALSO PROHIBITED. THIS APPLIED TO JEWELERY TOO.
