Ben Gurion Airport is about half way between Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem the Capital. About an Hour or less by bus. 15 minutes to Tel-Aviv by train. Train to Jerusalem is to South West Jerusalem.
Probably best by bus.
Beware of expensive Taxis unless you can afford it.
Ben Gurion Airport is called by some Tel-Aviv Airport but is actually in Lod.

Tel Aviv is the closest international airport and it's a fairly quick (1-2 hours depending on traffic) minibus or taxi ride to Jerusalem from there.
