I know that it is evil to behead people, to butcher them barehanded, and blow them up in schools, malls, cafeterias... I know that it is evil to hijack airplanes and fly them into buildings. I know that it is evil to teach your children things like "kill a Jew and you will go to heaven", yeah, that is pretty evil sh*t right there. It is also evil to brainwash an entire culture into blind hatred - evil.

Are there Israelis that are bad bloodthirsty people? Sure there are! What culture doesn't have that kind of people! But in Israel they are punished by their Government., where Palestinians are made heros within their society for the same, and even much worse kinds of deeds.

P.S. Hey wizFart! Nice move! pretending you are some chick, and giving yourself the best answer LOL. What a lowlife you are!

It is absolutely wrong and immoral that Israel uses civilians as human sheilds. The thing is Zionist-Israelis do not even consider those who are not Jewish as human. Zionist idealogy is deeply rooted in racism and fascism.

Israeli troops are rarely charged for their crimes. The harshest sentence an Israeli soldier has ever received for killing civilians is 8 years and that is because the soldier (Taysir Hayb) was Bedouin and not Jewish.

Below I have included a short video with a young girl who was used as a human sheild.

There is not "two sides." There is an oppressor and a victim.

In every country there are those who do wrong. For example, a gunman just today killed 30 students in their university in the USA. The real question is whether such behaviour is accepted and condoned by the authorities and the society. Clearly, as stated in the article, the Israeli army punished those soldiers responsible for action which was too harsh and inappropriate.

Yes, I think it's evil. It's not the worst evil committed by Israeli troops. Bulldozing people alive is worse. Shooting kids for sport is worse. Well, its a long list. Some of it under orders or policy from the top levels of the Israeli establishment.

I don't think it's ever acceptable to use humans as shields. That being said, I also think that the conflict in Israel/Palestine is not as black and white as it is so often portrayed, and as this question paints it. Most people tend to align themselves with one side or the other- and this shows a lack of understanding of the entire situation. Both sides have wronged each other and both sides have legitimate, complicated, issues that need to be addressed. This question shows the wrong of one side, and asks a fairly obvious question (is anyone going to say "no?"), but does little in the way of promoting constructive discussion.

According to the Israeli culture which is based on Zionism, they consider that any one who is not a Jew is not important to live or die. The same like Nazi Hitler said something similar in his books. Just he put Germans at the top of the list and Jews at the bottom. I still have hope that young Zionists change their mind and read more about humanity before there will be someone again appear and put them at the bottom of his list.

Arrogants usually can't see any far beyond their legs. They never read history which tells that countries and nations has ups and downs.
Zionists : Think about the time when you'll be down soon and all the rules and excuses you tell about your crimes will be used against you.

I don't know if it's "evil". Evil is a difficult word to define; I think the better question is is it wrong. The Israelis supreme court says yes and has banned the practice. Those that persist are punished for it. To be clear, I would say it is wrong.
Now, to counteract anyone walking away with the wrong idea, I think it is worse that Hizbullah fires rockets from a civilian area - effectively using those civilians as human shields. I think it is worse when they pack a building full of civilians so that Israel cannot bomb said building - human shields. I think it is worse for Palestinian terrorists to hide behind civilians using them as human shields. I would also point out that the only reason the IDF ever used human shields was to enter dangerous areas to find terrorists hiding behind civilians there.

I think it is evil of any race, creed or color to do this. As long as people use propaganda to exonerate or absolve the sins of one side, this problem will never be resolved. Take out the politics and so called impartial leaders, put in mothers, and see how long these wars would carry on. I would never, never let my son get involved in such madness. Please do not tell me about past slights and differences. As long as there has been 2 men on the earth there has been unnecessary bloodshed whatever the provocation.

Sure, it's in violation of international law, but what point are you trying to make? Do you not know that evil is everywhere.
