I think you're exagerating. Most of the time, no one says anything. Only some of the time do people call it anti-semitism, and they're usually and least partially right. You have to understand that Israel is defined as THE Jewish state, not 'a' Jewish state. As such, personal criticisms of the country are often applicable to the Jewish people as a whole. Saying things like "Israel shouldn't do that" or "Israel is not acting in the interest of world peace" is ok, but saying things like "Israel is evil" or "Israel is a blight on the world" are over that line. Saying "Israel should give back the territories" is ok, but something like "Israel has no right to exist" is not. Also, when people call for the de-existence of Israel, they are basically calling for the genocide of the Jews that live there, which is also inflamatory.
You have to understand that Israel is a sensitive subject for most Jews; it is after all our only country in the world. It is the only guaranteed safe-haven for when the world turns ugly. I know that sounds stupid and ludicrous to many people, but as good as things are in certain places for the Jews today, history has shown that it's better not to expect it to last. No country in history that has had a sizable Jewish population has remained good to the Jews for very long. England, France and Spain all expelled/tortured/forced converted their Jews in the not so distant past, and I hope we all remember the holocaust and the things that transpired there. Can you really be so sure that fledgling countries like USA, Canada, South Africa and Australia will never turn racist? I can't personally.
On top of that many Jews feel a close emotional connection to the state of Israel. My guess is you aren't a minority; if you are than you might understand. Jews growing up in the world are always outsiders to some degree. There may not be racism, but no matter where you live the society isn't set up for you. In America for example there may be a division of church and state, but that doesn't stop Christmas and Easter from being national holidays, while Succot, Passover and Shavuot are not, and neither are the High Holy Days. Even if you aren't observant of the stricter rules of these holidays, it's still comforting to be able to go to a land where you fit in; where the countries holidays match your own and the culture has personal meaning for you. I guess just try to understand the Jewish viewpoint.

You are not anti-semitic for asking this question. You have a right to express yourself. Anti-semitic includes all Middle Eastern, not just Jews. Unfortunately (we) Jews tend to make a big deal of the word. There was a time when people were anti-semitic towards Jews and Arabs burning down their homes and killing men, women and children and even raping the women. Nowadays the word is used out of place. You shouldn't be called anti-semitic just because you express negative points about us. It is just your opinion. Now if you were expressing racism or strong hate, well maybe, you will seem anti-semitic to us.

And being Jewish is not just a religion, I am not just a religion. My parents and grandparents and their grandparents were all Jewish. It's my heritage and we are also a Jewish race from a country called Israel. We are still debating that issue. People who convert to the religion are not even consider Jews, they are known as "Gerim" meaning "Convert"

That's because the statements against Israel are usually supported with faulty evidence. I have been to Israel myself and Arabs and Jews their are treated very fairly. There were people openly protesting all the time without getting shot. If there is strong and legitamit evidence that is convincing then we won't automatically assume it's anti-semist propaganda. You have to understand that Jews are strong supporters of human rights to all people and always try to aid the oppressed. If such injustices were truely happening in Israel there will be a huge outrage in the Jewish community. People who are gullible enough to belive the propaganda from the arab media is gullible enough to believe that Borat is actually from Kazackstan!

not everything said is considered antisemitic. only the things that are antisemitic are. when someone says i hate israel because it is full of filthy jews. that is considered antisemitic. but on the same note, if someone says i think israel should be given back to the palestinians, that is like saying we should give america back to the mexicans. just because times change and maybe there was a different ethnicity ruling in the past, doesn't mean that is the answer. there are jews that say nasty things about arabs, heck i have met a few traditional orthodox that were rude to me for being modern orthodox. i think we all need to grow up.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. addressed this question. He stated:

". . . You declare, my friend, that you do not hate the Jews, you are merely 'anti-Zionist.' And I say, let the truth ring forth from the high mountain tops, let it echo through the valleys of God's green earth: When people criticize Zionism, they mean Jews--this is God's own truth.

"Antisemitism, the hatred of the Jewish people, has been and remains a blot on the soul of mankind. In this we are in full agreement. So know also this: anti-Zionist is inherently anti-Semitism, and ever will be so.

"Why is this? You know that Zionism is nothing less than the dream and ideal of the Jewish people returning to live in their own land. The Jewish people, the Scriptures tell us, once enjoyed a flourishing Commonwealth in the Holy Land. From this they were expelled by the Roman tyrant, the same Romans who cruelly murdered Our Lord. Driven from their homeland, their nation in ashes, forced to wander the globe, the Jewish people time and again suffered the lash of whichever tyrant happened to rule over them.

"The ***** people, my friend, know what it is to suffer the torment of tyranny under rulers not of our choosing. Our brothers in Africa have begged, pleaded, requested--DEMANDED the recognition and realization of our inborn right to live in peace under our own sovereignty in our own country.

"How easy it should be, for anyone who holds dear this inalienable right of all mankind, to understand and support the right of the Jewish People to live in their ancient Land of Israel. All men of good will exult in the fulfillment of God's promise, that his People should return in joy to rebuild their plundered land.

"This is Zionism, nothing more, nothing less.

"And what is anti-Zionist? It is the denial to the Jewish people of a fundamental right that we justly claim for the people of Africa and freely accord all other nations of the Globe. It is discrimination against Jews, my friend, because they are Jews. In short, it is antisemitism."

i have no idea what you are trying to say.
If you are anti Semitic, then you are being a goof.
If you are asking a question, then it is OK.
what exactly is your question?
