I think allowing a million Arabs Israeli citizenship and/or permanent residency is mostly a one-sided token action, you know? It's not a token action Arabs gave Jews back in the Jewish exodus from Arab lands, during which also a million Jews who'd been living in Arab countries for millennia were harassed and persecuted into leaving. Nor is it a token action the Arab Palestinians gave the Israeli settlers in Gaza who were forced to evacuate by the Israeli Defense Force as a condition for peace. Nor, for that matter, is it a token action they're going to give the Israeli settlers in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. There's no moral reason why Israel should allow all its Arabs to stay, but I don't support their deportation, because that kind of brazen human rights abuse is something Arabs do, not something Israelis should do. However, I do support the deportation of Arab Israelis who are or are supporters of extremists, just as they deport certain people in the West.

I was in a town called Safed in Israel. There was an entry way to a garden apparently forbidding "Kohanim". Who are they, and why would they be forbidden to enter this garden?

Hi I am going on a Bible Lands Study Tour with about 40 people. Some people are coming from America and the rest from Australia. Basically we are whites and we are from the "hated countries" i guess you could say... Obviously we are going to be traveling on a bus because we have a lot of people.

IS IT SAFE TO GO TO ISRAEL, TURKEY, BETHLEHEM, EYGPT!! These type of places?? We are gonna go in July. The Australian smart traveller website says "please reconisder your need to travel" and for some regions it says do not travel... is this just hype?

I am going to Israel in August to go see some friends. I am just wondering what is security like when transiting through Tel Aviv. I have heard it is pretty intense and can be quite intimidating if you are not used to it. Do I have much to worry about.

The land of Canaan should be split in half. The northern half would be Palestine and the southern half Israel.

Both side would be disarmed, by force if necessary.

In the middle occupying Jerusalem would be the new U.N. HQ with a corridor that divides these lands from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea.

Stationed there should be 300,000 man multi-national Rapid Reaction Force capable of delivering a serious smack down to ANYONE in the region that acts out of line.

After all it was an arbitrary decision to make Israel in 1948. why shouldn't the world step up and fix what the allied power after WWII screwed up.

The Bible and Torah have no bearing here. Fictitious religious stories have nothing to do with the crimes of western powers who's documented hatred of Arabs AND Jews goes back to the middle ages. Now we can right the wrongs done to the Palestinian people. Some of the most oppressed people on earth. Palestinians need a conterminous homeland plain and simple.

Hi all,
I've heard different figures... I've heard from Australia it costs 2000 bucks, and that includes airtravel, accom, food, etc... but ive also heard from other places its just a small deposit of a couple hundred dollars, which is refunded after you get back from Israel ... which one is it?

Sick! And the Fox news anchor woman had the nerve to say that alot of Israeli guys were thanking jesus for hooters. Yah, probably about 10 who are christian. Israel is 90% Jewish, hello? The rest are muslim and a sprinkling of christian. So if the Rabinat wouldn't approve of a casino called sodom and omorah on the dead sea's coast, why are they approving turning Tel Aviv into the new Sodom? Gag me.
