My top reasons:
1) My family lives there.
2) It's super beautiful with amazing beaches, well-preserved ruins and lots of history. Not to mention that Israeli girls are the most beautiful in the world.
3) The people are super friendly, once you get past the prickly 'Sabra' exterior. And everyone is very upfront, but also hospitable and kind of chill.
4) The food....OMG! Where else will you have wienershnitzel, kube, malawach, and Israeli salad all in the same meal!!! mmmmmmmm
5) The weather. We have the warmest winters in Europe!

Well baba, why diminish Israel and claim it is part of Europe?
Ya-ch, F*** hate Europe.

Why do I love Israel:
_ Beautiful, sexy, diverse and interesting ladies
_ Tel Aviv is one of the most open minded and spirited places on earth (though it is ugly and stinking :) ), with tremendously fun night life
_ Innovative, resourceful, practical and open people
_ Did I mention the ladies?
_ Only place on earth where a Jew feels free and whole with his religion and identity.

Why not to love? Well, lets leave that for all of the Antisemites out there, disguising their racist hate as "criticism" on Israel...

the land is quiet fertile

the dead sea mud and its beauty byproducts

Ok, what exactly gives the Israelis the right to a homeland in the first place?

They were scattered throughout the world thousands of years ago. Apparently by their god who they must have pissed off royally.

So 1947-48 rolls around and all of a sudden they have a right to a homeland??? How does that work?

Can I claim a right to your house and walk in with a gun and force you out? Or do I need an old dusty set of scrolls where it is "written" that i have a right to your house.

Just asking cause i don't get it.
Please don't get me wrong I don't hate anyone, not in the least bit. So please try and avoid calling me names.

Doesn't peace start with atonement? And in this case would that start with the Israelis? The Arabs were just hanging out riding camels before 1947 living side by side with Jews in the land now called "Israel" Then all of a sudden the Jews (with the help of the Allied powers, who were punishing the Arabs for picking the wrong side in WWII) decided they had a right to a homeland and kicked the Palestinians out of their homes and off their land.

Hi Itay,

What HISTORY are you talking about? The country Israel exists since 1948. It's the region's history but not Israel's.

Talking about history? The Arab hospitality got a history.

Ruins? Well go to Germany, France, Greek, Italy etc. and you'll find a lot of them, too.

Girls? Check Wikipedia and see how often an Israeli girl won the contest.

Food? Go to any multi-culti city and you have the same. Btw: A Wiener Schnitzel is served with roasted potatoes or potatoe salat. That's how you enjoy it.

Beaches? Guess you never saw the beaches of Cabo Verde.

Since when does Israel belong to Europe????????????

Take care.

I don't know. I've never been there. I think it would be an awesome place to visit, just the history of that whole region. But to tell you the truth, I'd be scared as hell to go there or anywhere else in the Middle East.
