I was watching on youtube these videos where 'human rights workers' go into Hebron in the 'West Bank' and then entice some Jewish kids by saying this isn't their home and then asking Israeli solders to protect them. The comments on youtube are all about the 'terrible settlers'. But what I see is how pathetic these 'human rights workers' are. They go into a safe area with protection from Israeli police and soldiers (whom they claim are animals who kill innocent 'Palestinians') and start trouble by going to Israeli children and teenagers and calling them thieves and such. These people are anti-Semites and cowards. How many 'Palestinians have been killed by Israelis living in the West Bank? (I'm not talking about soldiers killing Arabs, but Jewish civilians- Remember the 'Human Rights' Nazis hide behind these "murderer" solders) There are two examples in the last 10 years, both well publicized. There is Baruch Goldstein and an army deserter who killed 4 Arabs. Both were denounced by Israel right away. How about Arabs killing Israelis? How about the rockets that are flying in daily from Gaza? How about the suicide bombings? HRW seems not to care about all the innocent children killed in suicide bombings by Arabs. Also if they really cared about 'human rights' they'd be in Darfur right now yelling at the Janjaweed. Instead they are in Hebron calling Jewish kids who have never killed anybody "thieves" and "animals". And how do these kids respond? Mostly by just talking back and maybe throwing a few rocks. Nothing compared to firing rockets at Israeli cities like the 'innocent Palestinians' are doing daily from non-occupied Gaza.

What's their take on Palestinian rejection of assorted peace plans/cease-fires? They want to stop the occupation, but why don't they address Israel's main concern (security)/reason for continuing to occupy the West Bank? Where's the active denunciation of terrorism? It's one thing to call for political action through nonviolent means, it's another thing to resist/subdue violence by one's own people.

As for the foreign (i.e., non Israeli or Palestinian volunteers), what are they doing to help solve the bigger problems in the world, such as the genocide in Darfur, the use of child soldiers in Uganda and the insurgency in Congo? Or are those dying peoples' lives less important b/c they are poor, black and without oil?

Fixing short-term issues while ignoring the deeper roots and causes has never ever worked. Ever. These people have a single mission and are completely blind to the bigger picture. On top of that, their methods aren't respectable, and they obviously do not have an open-mind about the conflict. Young people are often stupid and idealistic.

I see no problem with people getting involved in a group, that they feel compelled to help.

However, I would think that it takes a great deal of intelligence, for a person to realize that standing in front of a bulldozer; is not a good or smart idea!
