They are the shorter djellabas that come with matching pants that you can wear or you can wear them with jeans etc.

I have a few and there are times when they come in handy like if I am going walking on rough terrain - where I would normally find a regular djellaba too constricting.

I do but I only have a few and I do wear them at home but not exclusively. There was a time when I only wore caftans but I ended up gaining a few pounds without realizing it because I wasn't ever wearing any jeans or anything to notice LOL.

This is NOT a contest, I am just curious. I have....let's see....about 10 actually Moroccan Djellabas, some I got from my sil or as gifts etc. I have some "Djellaba Moderne" and then I have some things that are fashioned after Moroccan djellabas and some Abayas or other things all together...

It's obvious that we Jews and Muslims are now going round in circles arguing about how Israel was established etc etc etc. It's a total waste of time because we can't agree; also, Israel is a reality however much some Muslims hate it. So is it possible that we keep debating it partly because we all love a good argument?

If this is at all true, why don't we take a break and argue about some other topical issues? There are so many! For goodness sake, let's get angry about something else, just for a change!

There is a lovely corner of South West Saudi Arabia that is sparsely populated
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabuk_Province

Most of the population lives in the one main city while the costal areas along the Red Sea and across from the Sinai Peninsula are virtually uninhabited.

It would be incredibly easy to pick some nice sections of costal land that would be easy for habitation.

Why not move the majority of Palestinians there? They will be closer to Mecca, and it would be only a 10% increase in the population of Saudi Arabia.

I will even make it even better; Israel will pay for the whole thing. It will pay for houses to be built, and the infrastructure to be put in place long before they get their.

Basically they will have a better standard of living then they ever did or could achieve where they live now.

Whom ever has a problem with this idea, go and reflect it back on the other one.

I've been lucky in that in my job I've been invited to visit the above three countries.... The drawback is, that despite the connections, my job doesn't pay that much money!!

So, from the above countries, which would you recommend I visit? I can only really choose one in the near future.

Many thanks.

maybe there are other seniors out there who like myself like to go south in the winter for a couple of weeks. Now i prefer the all-inclusive trips as they solve so many problems when u pay the full amount of air+hotl+meals up front and need only worry about incidental expenses (gifts, etc) on your vacation. However, I am finding it impossible to find an all-inclusive trip anywhere that does not punish me financially for travrelling alone. For instance an all inclusive week advertised for $1000.00 per person in the Domincan republic, cuba, mexico, jamacia, etc, etc all have what they quaintly call a single suppliment that raises that $1000 to about $1400 or $1500 on average. Now we seniors eat less, drink less and take no more room space then a couple so why are we saddled with these additional charges. maybe somebody else has found this gouging annoying and has found a way around it if so i would love to hear from you.

What will the weather be like this month in Gatlinburg?

Do the roads ice over? I have never driven on icy roads. How do you drive on them?

I am recently single and plan to go on vacation in May. I was hoping someone out there had any ideas on where I can go. I am not looking for love or a one night stand. Just a few days of fun, adventure, and relaxation.

Please be honest!! Do you believe Americans who come to visit Jamaica are well off?? Is it just me or do you feel it's offensive when you're constantly being asked for money, IPODS, or MP3 Players?? I'm not trying to say this is the case for most or all Jamaicans- I'm just trying to understand some people's reasoning for what they do or say!
