I am recently single and plan to go on vacation in May. I was hoping someone out there had any ideas on where I can go. I am not looking for love or a one night stand. Just a few days of fun, adventure, and relaxation.

Gringa, the nicest trip I have ever went on for an adventure location would be Costa Rica...I was there for 16 Days and traveled the Western Coast by car...It was very cheap to stay, eat, drink, and have fun...Two of the most beautiful beaches I have ever layed eyes on are located in Costa Rica...The problem is that there is too much to see and do...You feel cheated that you can't spend more time there...I have been to many destinations where all you had was the beach and a small town of activities to enjoy...
Not Costa Rica...They are also very friendly to Americans...If anybody is interested I could direct them to a great Costa Rica vacation...Was there Feb. of this year...

A cruise is a wonderful suggestion. I am single and went on a four day cruise. There is lots to do, everything from movies, live shows, to gambling. You can make friends, swim, exercise, get a massage or read a book on deck. Only unpack once. Your hotel goes with you. I never slept so well. Like being in a giant cradle. I really liked it. There are even cruises for singles.

This may sound old and tired, but the Smokies are beautiful in May. There's hiking, whitewater rafting, bicycling in Cades Cove, and all the relaxation you care for. The area is beautiful. I try to take myself there at least once every year or two. Enjoy your vacation!

Try Vegas or Puerto Rico. Both have lots of things to do on your own.
