Yahoo wanted to put this thin the GLBT section! but it says djellaba is spelled correctly.....that's just ODD....

Diane, I wear Djellabs in the US and I work at the airport LOL...I was just curious to see how others felt. Thanks for answering.

If I'm off on Yaum ul Jumma, I'll go to the masjid near home with a djalaba. I wear it for Eid and some gatherings.

In the United States you can wear what ever you want. Just spend a little time looking around at the airport or train station and you will see the best and worst of the fashion world.

I have worn mine in the US. I got lots of strange looks. Humpf! People have no sense of culture! ;-)

Sure...I did, I would if I still wore them outdoors.

You can't get my husband out of them.
