They are the shorter djellabas that come with matching pants that you can wear or you can wear them with jeans etc.

I have a few and there are times when they come in handy like if I am going walking on rough terrain - where I would normally find a regular djellaba too constricting.

There are some crazy examples on that link but I am referring to the one called "Sanaa" and "Poussi".

Yes!!! I have one, with matching pants too. I MUCH prefer the shorter ones. I love to wear it with jeans and sneakers. My family in Morocco finally bought me nice shoes, they said sneakers didn't look nice. LOL I was just trying to put an American spin on my Moroccan outfit.

I do like them though I don't wear them in public.

The newest fashion which I absolutely love is to take your favorite pair of jeans in to the tailor and he will cut off the cuffs and replace them with the decorative stitch that runs down the center of your djellaba and also add it to the front and back pocket edges. Then you can have a matching top made of whatever length. What I like best is one that hangs across my butt :-p...again not outdoors for me. These new outfits are so cute and you get to stay in your favorite jeans!

EDIT: rofl on that website. As cute as many of those are they couldn't done a better job at finding hooker poses lol!!!
