Travel - 31 October 2007

I had applied for the passport in january.Due to change in my temporary address the person who came for verification went back.We didn't get any furthur acknowledgement regarding that.I need the passport with in 2 months now.If I cancel my previous application and apply for a tatkal then can I get it soon and please tell me how to do the cancellation also.

I'd like to know as I am considering Oz to migrate to in the future. I've been to NSW Canberra Melbourne and South Oz but find the weather very dry. I live in a tropical country so I had to use a lot of moisturizer on my skin when I was there. Thanks!

I went there a few years ago and everyone or the majority of them seemed rude. They don't smile a lot and if your in a jam packed store they just seem to push and shove you out of the way. Its a very nice city but I really didn't fancy the people in it. Also, I went to Macys and tried on a few clothing items and brought it to the worker afterwards to be put away and in a very mouthy type voice she told me "go put them bck on the hanger then i'll take them". I was not happy. Does anyone else feel the same way? I would love to go back there as it is a beautiful place but I dislike the people in it. Are all people like this in New York?

Japanese Time confuses me, a lot. I've been looking up some TV schedules and they have times like 25:00, 26:00, and even 27:00. I thought we only have up to 24 hours a day? How does the Japanese time telling really work? Say for example, if it's 25:00 in Japan, what time is it in the Philippines?

I really have no clue how it works.... But.... I am 36 single mother of 16 year old. Currently we live in the USA. However, all my family lives in Canada. My girlfriend and I would like to take our kids (boys-7 & 9, girl is 8) on a vacation next summer. We are from northern Ohio, and would be open to just about any suggestions. The only place we don't want to go is Disney(Florida). We're not really into camping, and we wouldn't mind flying or taking a road trip to get there. Any ideas for something to do next summer with the kids?? Please let me know.....also any web sites that you might know of!!! I greatly appreciate your help!!!!
