Whats unique about your city? What is something people do in your city that they probably dont do in other cities. I live in San Antonio Texas and you know your in San Antonio when restaurants advertise Barbacoa and Big Red.

I want to go away for sat/sun on november 3rd/4th and was looking for a good one night getaway from philly area. I really enjoy fells point baltimore and washington dc but was looking for some other possible destinations within a few hours drive of philly. How about New Haven CT? I love to get the real life advice! We will be staying downtown but have scheduled enough time to do some exploring. I'm in North Carolina this week and would like to bring back some famous CHERRYWINE soft drink for my friends to taste. If I buy some 20 oz. bottles or aluminum cans, do you think they'll explode in my luggage? I don't know if I should put them in my carry-on (small computer case) or my checked bag. I have recently booked a 7 night stay at the Quality Inn in downtown Los Angeles. I booked via Lastminute.com, I have scince had a change in circumstances and now need to stay a full 7 days earlier, if available, what are the normal rules about amending the hotel ?
