I'm in North Carolina this week and would like to bring back some famous CHERRYWINE soft drink for my friends to taste. If I buy some 20 oz. bottles or aluminum cans, do you think they'll explode in my luggage? I don't know if I should put them in my carry-on (small computer case) or my checked bag. My flight back home is only 1 hr.

Cans and bottle will most likely explode in the luggage area of a plane. Either ship them through the postal service or you will need to put them in a carry-on, but with the new rulings, check with your airline before attempting this.

i believe you can only have liquids that are 3 oz or less, so if you're going to have them be that size, then you should put them in your luggage, but make sure they are in a plastic bag and that there is lots of clothes or some kind of protection around them because the airport is not gentle with your luggage, and it might explode because of the poor handling, but it shouldn't explode because of the plane ride

They should be fine, worst-case scenario is a little leakage. The bottles should hold up better under any pressure strain or rough backae handling better than the cans.

Don't put it in your carry-on, the new security rules won't let you take liquids on the plane.

DO NOT PUT IN YOUR CARRY ON!!! you can no longer bring liquids onto a flight and if you do you cannot have more than 100ml !
i'd use cans and maybe vacuum seal it just to be safe. i don't think they'll explode from the pressure but they may freeze causing the liquid to expand... it's really really cold up in the sky!

Use a 20 oz bottle, the plastic is more flexible, it will suck in when you are in the air, and expand when you land, it works at 1500 feet in a private plane, I don't know about a commericial plane at 20k feet good luck

I brought home 3 bottles of crown royal once. it was wrapped up in newspaper and bubblewrap. One of them broke the other 2 were fine. that was in my luggage. You should probably take it in your carry-on bag.

they will probably be OK as long as there not exposed to extreme heat. that gos for cans or bottles. be careful when you open them tho, they might be a little shook up! also you should probably put them into your checked luggage so as not to freak out security.

You won't be able to carry them in your carry-on luggage...regulations prohibit.
Best bet is to take some to a UPS store and have them packaged correctly and ship them direct.

No they will not. Any you will have to put them in your checked luggage. If you try to carry on liquid they will make you throw it away at security.

I fly everyweek for work, trust me they will be fine.

it all depends on how the baggage guys handle your bags. i took cans of juice from hawaii back to the mainland and they were enclosed in boxes and taped really tight. i also told the airlines what were in them and they put a sticker on it to warn of the contents of the drinks.
