ouch!!!
Admittedly, I'm pikonski to the bones (accdg. to my bossman) but I assure you, sweetie, I'm far from being immature.
However, I have just validated my observation that an immature fellow (who shall remain nameless) is indeed exhibiting strong indication that he is pikon as well. Poor, poor kid!

I don't think either is a word. I'd call pikoness "touchiness." And when I last checked the correct word was "immaturity." I wouldn't equate them. I live in the northeast. People here are very "touchy." They don't like to be touched. But I feel my friends in the northeast are more mature than my friends where I came from in S. California, in that they are on time for appointments and they take responsibilities more seriously. Yes. I know these are generalizations. The question seemed to call for that kind of answer.

Subject: GOING BYBY
Message: Hi: I just wanted to let you know that my wife and I will be closing our Accounts on here in a day or so (or sooner)
From what I am hearing from others who email me, one of the "Missys" got upset because I blocked her and now she is blaming us for every thumbs down she gets and even saying we are stalking her.
I just got back and noticed that even "Papa Chuck" is coming to her deffence.
But that's ok God bless um all...I have already opened an account out of Yahoo and moved all my information to it so that when she get's me cut off I won't loose anything.
I just hate to leave cause I like to think that the 30 fans that I have, are so because they trust my word.
So if you want to stay in touch (I don't know she may be your friend also) please let us know.
It really is ok, cause all I ever tried to do was to answer questions to help people.
You have read my answers to people and they are still there for anyone to see, do you think I have come off as self-rightous or mean or the type of person who would follow someone around giving thumbs down?
Anyway thank you for leting get this off my chest.
Just so you know, the thing that I assume started this was a question someone asked about Philippines being called PI instead of RP.
I said "Philippines are Islands" just like Hawiian Islands>.
And then she answered the question and was real upset about calling the Philippines PI.
(she was a fan)
So I sent her an email and just said "You surprised me with your answer calling people ignoramus" Then I put a smiley face.
She then sent me an email saying (among other trash) that she would not let hard headed foriegners tell her what to do.
So I blocked her (out of site out of mind).
Then she blocked us and that is when she really went to work.
Then from what I understand she has been degrading me and Cathy ever since, accussing us of stocking her and giving her thumbs down and being self-rightous (DO I COME ACROSS THAT WAY?)
I guess we could stay but I expect her to report, report, report and get our account deleted.

No. "Pikoness" it is not another word for anything. In fact it is not a proper word at all.

Rather. Affirmative.
I am also unfortunately "pikon" and immature, sometimes.
A song in South Pacific had these words "Immature and incurably green." Don't you think it fits your humble servant to the letter? Just look at my avatar. The little green grouch, at your service.

"Immaturity" is lacking the wisdom or emotional development of an adult.
"Pikon" is lacking the sense of humor to see the fun in the situation; usually subjective. Teasing can be done in a playful and loving way, or it can be done maliciously.
Two different words with different meanings.

I just tried it in an online thesaurus. There is no one word synonym. There are no DIRECT one word synonyms that convey the idea of a word that means the same thing as another.

For some people I think it's the same..they act immaturely when they are pikon..
But that doesn't apply to me..I am neither pikon nor immature..

It may serve YAP well if we lay this subject to rest. I see that a lot of people are being affected, and some others are being dragged into it. We are losing the fun, people.
