My favorite is the Hollywood Rosevelt; it's a couple blocks from Hollywood and Highland (or it might be right at that corner, it;s been a few months since I have been there). It is a lovely "old school Hollywood" hotel with lots of history, beautiful rooms (although a little on the small side, they are nicely furnished), nice restaurants, etc. I truly enjoy staying there!

Renaissance Hotel is connected via walkway to the Hollywood and Highland complex, which has a movie theatre, restaurants, nightclubs as well as shopping...and the rooms are really nice.

Extend Stay America in Burbank is my choice, $80/ Night with good size room. 25mins from Universal Studios.

The "Hollywood" you spot portrayed on T.V isn't the actual Hollywood. the actual Hollywood is a slightly grimy area of l. a.. maximum lodges there are older. Hollywood is approximately 20 miles from the closest sea coast. stay in different greater suitable areas of city. the two interior the Santa Monica/ west side area. or on the different touristy area in Orange County. Please do no longer communicate with California as "Cali" Cali is a drug city in South united statesa., and maximum Californians evaluate that factor era INSULTING. WE abbreviate our states call "Cal". asserting "Cali" here labels you as a vacationer or a "poser".

if you have big bucks, stay at the Hollywood Roosevelt or Renaissance. if not try Holiday inn walk of fame on n highland.
