The beaches in the Pan Handle of Florida are amazing.
The area of San Destin, Destin, Santa Rosa are beautiful.
And as long as the weather cooperates, December should be good.

Southern California is always relatively warm and has lovely beaches. It is nearly always sunny down there and the days wont be freezing.
