A friend of mine is from China and speaks perfect Chinese and 99% perfect English. She says that there really isn't a word for sidewalk in chinese, because in a way, there aren't sidewalks in China.

With the Canadian Dollar and U.S. Dollar at par why do the same items cost so much more in Canada. Examples
- A McDonald's Dollar Menu item is $1:39 in Canada
- Books and Magazines have two prices on them U.S and Canadian?

Eurail does not sell single train tickets anymore. is buying a train ticket now the same as an airline ticket. Different prices for exact same trip and type, depending on who you buy it from.

Do you have a good source that you can suggest.

The most confusing to me is that when I try to buy a Frankfurt-Paris ticket from the German railway, I get a price of about 100Euro, when I try to buy the same thing from a French site ( mind you that I have not been able to find the official French railway site), I get prices twice as much.

This is for San Antonio,TX residents or anyone who is familiar with the place. I am going to San Antonio in November. My husband and I are taking our girls to the Hannah Montana concert that will be held in the AT&T center. We are going to be leaving on a Sat. her concert is on a Monday and we head back home on Tuesday so obviously we need a place to stay. We want to stay somewhere fairly close to the center but at a nice hotel, 3 1/2 or 4 star. Is the riverwalk anywhere close to the AT&T center? What is the closest attraction to the AT&T center that would make it easier for us to choose a nearby hotel?

Hi,

Leaving aside housing for a moment, what is reasonable monthly cost for the following things (for a family of 3 Adults and 2 kids);
1) Utilities bill i.e. telephone, electricty, etc.
2) Food/Groceries
4) Schooling of kids (One in Grade 7 and other in Grade 9)
5) Taxes
6) Transport

And now the house/apartment rent:

I know this one depends on city to city..suppose I select Brisbane and Sydeny as 2 options. What would be the rent for a 3-4 bedroom apartmwnt/house? Is there a URL from where I can get this real estate related information.
