Kelle-Paça Corbasi, or head and foot soup as it's actually translated.

I can't blame you, that would be my initial reaction if I see "fatty" stuff floating on the soup, no matter how good they say it tastes especially at my age where I have to watch my cholesterol.

We also have fatty soups here, so what I do is cool it down, put it in the ref until the fat solidifies, then I take it out.

Hmmm, judging by the yums and yucks, maybe you should choose another Turkish soup. ^_^

It's called 'paça'. It is either made from head or legs of lamb. Some people don't like it, some just love it (me for example). The soup is flavoured with vinegar, garlic and black or red pepper.
There is also 'işkembe' which is made from the stomach of the animal. Again they put garlic and vinegar in it. I love it.

Kelle-Paça. Yes there's garlic and vinegar in it.

I never had that either. Even only the idea of eating head and legs make me feel sick. No offense to whom like the soup.Just not my type of food.

Ayumi (a Japanese actress who works in Turkey) had once said, they eat paça dishes in Japan, too, only it is pig paça, not sheep.
