Travel - 8 September 2007

Every week, Friday/Saturday there is a fireworks show somewhere southeast. It might be on the river, I'm not sure as half of it is blocked by a building so I don't know exactly where it is.
Just that it happens about once a week on Friday or Saturday. So what is it for, or is it just some holiday every weekend?

I livin in a community of 300k armenians and the crime here is bad not to mention the driving they do--horrendous.

Now, when the give people tickets, two cameramen get out of the police car and videotape you and take down every word you say while another police officer is writing a ticket?

Is this unusual or what or is this person a suspect or something?

I have a large Doberman Pinscher that will flying into Mexico City airport and I have no idea what to expect and need any advice I can get. I have done alot of research on the net and got all the paperwork, shipping container, temp. restriction ect, ect ..... The actual experience of plane travel with a pet, much less internationally is daunting at best. I will be flying Delta and pretty much got their procedure figured out. But where do I pick him up at when we land ?? Can the piolit talk to the baggage handlers when we dock to alert therm how to contact me ???

I will be visiting my boyfriend who lives in Las Vegas (Nevada, not New Mexico :P) on the weekend of September 20th. Ideally looking for a spot to picnic. Privacy even better but not required. Whenever I fly US Airways I have to endure a 10 minute commercial about their credit card and the supposedly great benefits it gives me. Then the fllight attendants walk the plan trying to get passengers to fill out an application. How much money does each flight attendar get per application to waste my time in flight and wake me from a nap to sell me credit card?
