- Not too hot in summer (i.e. no more than 35C)
- Not covered in snow in winter for months on end (I don't mind a little bit, but I don't want to be wearing skiing kit all winter lol)
- Not cram-jam full of evangelical Christians (they wouldn't like me much)
- Adequate rainfall - i.e. enough for grass without using a hose
- Got a decent university

Bit of a tall order I know, but any answers appreciated :D

Well today soon we're leaving for SF.. not much in our own city to show our guests so we always opt for San Fran..

I love it there.. it sorta reminds me of a New York but differently.. I especially love how its so foggy and the sound of the cablecars..

Anyone would like to wish me a great day =)

Good day to you too! :)

Looking at the pictures of the protests outside Sydney Town Hall there were people from all ages and walks of life. Yet while they were complaining about APEC and capitalism screwing the people of Asia there was nary an Asian face in the crowd. Just looked like skip-central to me.

okay so I've decided that since this is my senior year, I want to set up a cruise trip with a few of my friends (maybe 10?). My question is whenever they set you off for a few days in say...Jamaica..can you come back to the ship to sleep at the end of the day or do you have to go out on your own and get a hotel/motel? Also, does anyone know some cool places to go out of the U.S. around...$500 give or take? Please don't say mexico.

"La yadkhol al janah man kan fee kalbeh methkal tharaten men kebr"
"La yadkhol al nar man kan fee kalbeh methkal tharaten mn 2iman"
Both in English:
"A person will never enter hell if he had an atom weight portion of iman in his heart"
"A person will never enter heaven if he had an atom weight portion of arrogance in his heart"
Could you relate please?
I believe that 99% of the muslims(at least me) may have kebr about any certain issue,
What will happen to people with both,
I dont want conclusions or predictions, serious answers in english only,
Thank you

Apparently, this is an effort to help the OFWs families cope with the higher prices and less income because of the superficial rise of the peso. An email I received added this paragraph as kind of an afterthought:

"This is our (OFW) united effort in terms of monetary value. Which the government "seems" to neglect for the very reason that we are not united... and they can step on our nose.. but for as long as we can endure the pain... we should not resort to this option. Unless otherwise kailangan mo nang ibagsak ang huling baraha.."

What do you think? Will this be detrimental to us?

And OFWs out there... will you support this cause?

Thank you. ^_^

a family atmosphere (No smoking or beer) "coffee house" where you could come on weekends and weekend nights
to drink soda, coffee, tea, lemon aid....have some chips or a sandwhich
and listen to "Live accustic folk music of the 60's and 70's"?
Or is that a thing of the past here in the Philippines that would not go over well?

Why do we not accept a man marrying more than one woman in our society? I'm asking Egyptians in particular cuz in most Arab countries like Saudi, UAE, and Yemen it is very common and well accepted by wives there, so u wud see a man married to 2 or more women and they are ok with it and getting a lot well, but not here in Egypt. My question is.. why are we Egyptians like that? I'm not saying I don't feel the same way like most Egyptian women do... I'm also totally against the idea of my husband marrying another woman, I'd kill him!! hehe, but ain't I, and women who feel the same way abt this issue sinful this way to not accept something that Islam permitted? I know it should be under some certain circumstances, but are we accepting that either! Also, there is another issue I wanna discuss. When a man marries another woman and is asked why u did that?he says I'm following sunnah"ba7yi elsunnah" well, did he follow sunnah in other things more important that that?
