It is often more fun to travel together with someone but Finland is very safe. Maybe you could join a group or a camp or - try contacting any group that you are familiar with from home like the scouts or 4H or the Lions or Rotaries (if you relatives belong -or?) try looking at net pages of traveling to Finland. like traveladvisor or lonelyplanet or...
