Going to Australia for 3 weeks from Sydney to Cairns, can anyone give me some advice about what to do there?

leaving next week till 5th Oct, would really appreciate any info/advice on routes, itineraries, money, weather, things to see/do..anything!!!cheers!

A day trip out to Green island - Otherwise you can go out on the Outer Barrier Reef on their platform for lunch.

Cable Skiing Water Park is new to Cairns -

Get the Sydney 7 day pass card. It is pretty cheep and gets you in a LOT of things. It also gives you a GREAT book that tells you where everything is. It also tells you whats in the same area so you can spend each day in a new area and get everything done. It saved my husband and I well over 500.00 dollars. Also, it gives you free tanspertain the whole 7 days. That means you take take the train or bus or fairy anytime you want. Rather you are going to a place to use your card or not. Its very nice to have.
