If there is a single female tourist in China who doesn't speak Chinese except the basic greetings, what difficulties would she encounter? Is it safe for a female to travel alone? Are Asian tourists treated differently from Westerners? Please elaborate. Thank you!

My partner & I split time between Harrisburg and Northern NJ. When we travel together we usually flight out of Newark. After our most recent experience we are looking for good alternate airports. So I am seeking recommendations.
Has anyone used any of the following, which I know are options for us: Allentown or Harrisburg in PA, Trenton or Atlantic City in NJ? Any others that would be good alternates that I am not aware of?
We would be travelling within the US only. Mostly to either Tampa or Ft. Myers in Florida (family reasons). We are willing to take stops if it makes the flights better and the airport experience less hectic.

When the Arabs in '48 came under fire from Israeli-made Davidka mortars, did they really think that they were being assaulted with nuclear weapons?
And was the weapon's main attribute its ability to sow panic and fear in the Arab ranks?

You get a credit card unlimited balance, and a backpack of anything you want. You can not stay in any domestic businesses or use any public, rented or your own transportation. You may not bribe or pay for rides. You will travel from The coast of Maine to the coast of California. Could you do it?

Riddle me this - my aunt is about 5'3" and chubby, is 57 years old and dresses conservatively. Last time she was in Istanbul with her husband who looks just like Santa Clause, she had her butt grabbed, her breast grabbed and the cab driver asked my uncle how much he wanted for "it" - meaning her. This is not b.s. Why do you think this happened to her and is this common in Turkey?...

We will be cruising to Mexico in Nov. and found out we are on deck 3 toward the front of the ship. Does anyone out there know if this part of the ship will make you more sea sick. Getting the middle of the ship I guess is not an option because its all taken up. I do get sea sick very easily. So if it's really bad in that sect. then what are some ideas to reduce being sea sick other than dramamine, I hate the drowsy effect.Thanks.

I was just wondering how the girls chose to name a guy.. i don't understand the rules of that show.. but i'm hearing the tv behind me.. my sister is waiting for Nawal El-Zoghbi.. lol
so i was thinking if i named a guy, the reason would be that he didn't give em that last piece of chocolate.. :(

What would your reasons be to name a guy out of a reality dating show like that?!!
