i am Filipino citizen and came here in dubai using visit visa. Now that i am employed for 3 years contract here in dubai,i am now planning to finish just 1 year. i just want to ask how can i work in United States without using visit visa? i started working 2 months ago and i have no idea regarding the process and requirements of recruitment agencies here in dubai.what is cross country anyway? and i hope that you can give me an idea about the expenses that i might be spend in ticket, working visa and application. tnx yahoo...

so i'm looking for the cheapest way to get from minneapolis, mn to sydney, australia in november or december. all the prices i've looked at so far have been like $1900+ for roundtrip. this seems rather pricey.
is this a reasonable? are there cheaper ways to get there? good dates to travel? maybe flying into another australian city and then taking a train/bus to sydney?

any advice? no generic travel websites please unless its really something special.

i'm trying to use northwest airlines because i have a $500 credit there.

My husband is trying to plan my birthday trip .I told him i wanted to go on a cruse.We would like to leave either out of New Orleans or Texas...somewhere around that area. Taiwan was invade by a chinese dynasty not even before the 17th century. America was long time being occupy and colonize by England. This tiny time represent a fraction of the 4 thousand years old history of China.

Taiwan was populated by Austronesiannative who silently assimilated but didn't disapear completely.Austronesians are the ancestors of phillipinos, malays, polynesians(Hawai, tahiti, marquise, etc..)

This mean that Communist China should let Taiwan alone since they have no ancestral right to get it back. Taiwan should thus stay independant.

My husband and I are planning our second honeymoon, we just took the kids on vacation, (6 total, from our prior marriages) so after that, now we are on a budget and we are thinking either the Main Island or Oahu, we would appreciate the insight of a native and/or resident from these two areas, in where to go and what to do. We are looking for 3 o 4 star hotel, and would like to spend a week there. Thanks everyone!
