Me and my girlfriend came to san diego for comic-com but all motels/hotels are sold out or too outrageously priced. Can we stay with you tonight? We'llbring booze if necessary, or not, either one.

The 500 West Hotel has some bunk beds available.
The address is 500 west Broadway, corner of Broadway and India downtown San Diego. Also check with lucky D's Hostel in the Gaslamp, Eighth and Market downtown.
If all else fails you can stay at lindbergh field,

What I used to do at the comic convention is to make friends with someone there and offer to pay for part of their room if they would let me share it. I slept on the floor a few times, but OK. The other thing people do is to simply sleep in the lobby, and do sponge bath (wipe down) in the lavatory.
There probably is a message board you can look at to find people who need roommates to share.

i have a nice big refrigorator box. i will even throw a blanket in for you. the dog slleps on it though.
