Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world. Go to Red Rock for the best barbeque in town. Check out all the casinos on the strip and see a show or two. Toni Braxton puts on a great show at the Flamingo. Have fun and don't lose too much money.

I walk the Strip regularly, and sometimes I'll take $1 to each casino and gamble it- that way toy get see just about everything. Bring some comfortable walking shoes though- the trip from Sahara to Mandalay Bay and back is a good 6 or 7 miles, and takes 4 or 5 hours.

As far as staying, I liked the Excalibur. It was easy access to the strips and all the other major hotels. are either across the street or next door. The rates are reasonable. I love to eat at Arizona Charlies on Decatur St. They have the best champagne buffet and you can eat Steak and eggs for $3.99 all day and night.

Cesar's Palace forum shops. Tons of shops, lots of food, and two free fountain AA shows. Be warned though, if you come in through one entrance (I can't remember which one, possibly the front entrance directly from the Strip?) navigation can be tricky. You have to go up one level before you can find your way to the lower levels.

There's this one Mexican restaraunt near one of the fountains that's really good (I love their quesadias). I can't remember the name, but it's inside one of the hubs.
