I would take the pushchair. I went to Egypt with my family and rather than take the expensive pushchair i picked up one of the cheap fold up type i think it was reduced to £20. When my Granddaughter was tired of walking she just popped in and it really was a lot easier than carrying her all the time. When we were leaving we gave it to one of the barmen that had a young daughter he was over the moon........

If you're going to be doing a lot of walking, then by all means take his pushchair. Little children will tire out much quicker than adults.

Other than that, he's old enough to walk or be carried for short distances.

my kids didnt use their pushchairs past 14 months. but if he wants to go to sleep while you have dinner etc its always easier if you have something to put him in. the only thing is lugging it around with you if he doent use it and paying the excess baggage. i'm 50-50 but i dont think i would take it for either of mine, they'r 3 and 18 months. i know my 3 yo would be so interested in everything she wouldnt get tired!
good luck, enjoy your holiday!

It would probably to be wiser to pick up a lightweight collapsible push chair when you get to your destination (and discard or donate when leaving). The reason being, if you and your family are at maximum baggage at the airport, you can pay up to $/Euro 75 for each additional bag, if you'd be checking the push chair as luggage. My neighbors little boy is 3 and he likes to walk, but after a 1/4 mile, he wants to ride in the push chair. Good luck!

If you're going to explore and depending on how hot the weather is I think it would be a good idea, I always say it's better to bring something and not need it than not bring and need it.

Enjoy your holiday.
