I wanted to visit las vegas and I want to know how many of the big ones there are. The ones that are on the strip. Can you name them all? How much money should a person take on a trip like that?

I do know, because I lived in Vegas for one year, that there are over 100 casinos in the city, but major ones, not sure exactly on the strip, but I would have to say about 20? Don't quote me on that one and I hope you have a blast. How much $$ depends on if you plan on gambling or not and if you gamble most likely, hate to say it, you will lose or hopefully win or at least break even.

"How much money should a person take on a trip like that" >It all depends on where you like to eat, how long you stay, the shows you wish to see and how much you intend to gamble. You can do LV on the cheap or you can spend money like Congress if you want.

There are tons. The strip is all of Las Vegas Blvd, so there would be a HUGE laundry list of hotels to name. It is not cheap to stay on the strip though, so don't count on any cheap rooms.

There are too many casinos to count. I'm not sure about how much money a person should take. It depends on how long you stay there and if you're gonna gamble or not.
