Any web sites, phone numbers, any addresses, leads? I really want to work on a fishing boat in Alaska.

Go down to the docks in Ballard and talk to the guys on the fishing boats. Lot of the crab boats you see on Discovery are down there.

In the past you had to find your own way to Dutch Harbor and beg your way on to a boat.

Look for newspapers in Alaska. I'm sure some of them have online classifieds. Or (area)helpwanted.com might have some local postings. http://regionalhelpwanted.com/info/sitelist_domains.cfm?SN=2

Then there's always craigslist. www.craigslist.com - just go to the right of the page to find the area you are looking for.

They often advertise in university newspapers. Research the companies. Often you end up getting stuck buying equipment, food, etc. from a company store. Which can bring your pay down.

Grow some hair....then go down to the docks and learn to whisper to the salmon. Then when they are caught they will put in a good word for you. :-)
